From Baroda we started towards Chittorgarh, Rajasthan bypassing Udaipur which we had already visited earlier. Roads in Gujrat & Rajasthan are good & most of the main highways have six lanes. Traffic is also thin but has lot of heavy vehicles. Truckers have their own ideas on road discipline & need to be left alone. Our Alto 800 merrily cruised along with a/c on & we had no problems. Though with heavier vehicle we could have covered the distance faster. Road side dhabas were fewer. We kept lot of snacks, water bottles & fruits for the journey.
We passed through Dungarpur district which looked pretty green after monsoon showers. Hot & bright sun made interesting combo with green hills. Some snaps taken while moving towards Chittorgarh are here:
